Safety Plan

  • Recognize that you need help and reach out 
  • Know your triggers (thoughts, moods, situations, behaviors, stimulants, etc...)
  • Keep your home/environment safe
  • Put yourself around positive influences
  • Remember the things that are most important to you. Make a list.
  • CALL, TEXT, FIND someone. Don't be alone.
  • Make a list of social places or activities that will provide a distraction from the crisis.
  • Have a list names and contact information and ways to contact them.
  • Talk about it. Don't be afraid to talk about how you're feeling.
  • I am loved more than I feel in this moment.

  • Be honest with yourself
